a much needed vacation - for me and my laptop!

i appreciate all the new comments on my other posts from those of you who were probably wondering - WHERE THE HECK IS SHE? :) i headed out of town for 3 weddings over the holidays, and my laptop decided it needed a vacation. so i was stuck for half my trip with no laptop, and away from my desktop! at first i was really irritated, but then i figured it was good for me to take a break anyway! i had three super fun weddings, and a couple other shoots while i was enjoying the warm california weather. now i’m back and ready to share it all with the blogging world!

meet tesse and mike - they’ll be getting married this summer. we met on NEW YEARS DAY in PASADENA! at first i thought it was going to be madness! luckily, the rose parade was finished and the rose bowl had already started, so the streets were like a ghost town! we met at cal tech to do their portraits. one of the things tesse told me she loved most about living in pasadena was how close everything is - little did i know she was going to actually ride her bike to the shoot in her dress! she gets major points for that in my book! and mike was a terrific sport in spite of having to miss the big game! :)

i can’t wait to see their wedding which was inspired by their romantic first date, and their ultra-romantic proposal!! i don’t want to spoil the surprise - so you’ll just have to wait to see the magical day designed for them by amorology weddings!

    Jamie - I LOVE them!!!! Thank you!!!! I’m sure I’ll have a lot more exclamations & kudos once I’ve poured over these shots for a little while - but I had to let you know right away how psyched we are to see these & especially how wonderfully they turned out! I feel like a movie star!!!!
