steve and rachel - engaged!

steve and rachel are getting married this summer in seattle. i just want to start this post by saying that rachel is THE SWEETEST girl in the whole world! i could tell from the first time i met her, but it was more than reaffirmed at our shoot! we opted to do their engagement shoot even though it was a brisk 29 degrees outside. rachel brought all THREE of us hand warmers and feet warmers to keep our fingers and toesies warm! she also read my blog post where i complained (now i’m embarrassed!) about not liking to scrape my windows and brought me a gloved ice scraper! now my hand is nice and toasty whenever i have to do the dreaded task :) i was SO touched by her thought, i can’t even express it!

okay, now back to the engagement shoot - we met up at a cute coffee shop in belltown that even swirls little hearts out of your cappuccino foam! then we headed down to the waterfront near olympic sculpture park which is RIGHT where steve proposed. steve and rachel were out running together one morning and he ran ahead. when she rounded the corner, she saw a sign stretched between two trees and a table all set up on the grass overlooking the water! steve gets major points for this proposal - way to give a girl a story that everyone will love! we made sure to get photos right in the actual spot :) my favorite part of the shoot was that they both kept sneaking sweet little looks at each other. you can just tell that these two are in love! i can’t wait for the fabulous wedding this summer!

I love the 5th photo! It is my favorite! I love how she is all curled up into him and looking through her lashes at him! And the jogging pictures are such a unique and personal idea to their engagement photos! Love them all! Wonderful job of course!

The pictures were wonderful. We liked the ones by the ocean and the
one by the two trees facing each other. All of the close ups were
great! Uncle Stan & Aunt Pat

Loved these photos. Rachel, your smile and expressions are all your Mom. I loved the ones of you laying on the ground with your eyes closed, in black & white, and when you opened them it was in color. Wishing you many years of happiness!
