tanya is a lifesaver. she does organizing for a living, and is SO GOOD at it! she helped me organize my whole house, and my life is still crazy, but at least its organized in the middle of the madness! if you're interested in having her come to your house let me know - closets, bedrooms, kitchens, garages - she does it all!!

MY FAMILY!!!!

family pictures are important to me, and i get them done at least every year! the kids get shoots in between because i can do those, but around christmas time i annoy my family by stressing about their outfits, changing them 5 times on the day of, and then dragging them out to get portraits done :) i totally understand what all you moms go through! melissajill took our portraits, and i absolutely love them!

these were some of our first friends in arizona. we met each other when our first babies were just babies! its always fun to do portraits with good friends!

this was my last vegas family. i had SUCH cute families in vegas, and the edwards were a great ending to this trip!!

the rasmussens are expecting twins in the spring! you would hardly know it from mom's tiny belly!

i did portraits for my cousin's soccer team while i was in vegas also. we did a dressed up one (because even athletes should be ladies) and then they threw up their hair and put on their uniforms.

vegas baby!

this last weekend, i went up to las vegas for some family shoots. all of the families were so sweet, and i really enjoyed working with them all!

the barlow family was my first shoot...


this was my first family to ever bring a golf club to entertain their son! he had a great swing too!

my first farm animals!

these are actually the kellis family pets! they have a huge backyard with farm animals, and decided to do a fun shoot to capture it all. this is the 4th shoot i've done with this family, and i love them! they are very sweet, and its so fun to get to come back often to see them again!

harmony warned me that the goat would head butt me, but i didn't know it would do it like this!

the howell family

the howells were another fun family from last year. they have two adorable boys and it was fun to see how much they've grown!

the pulsipher family

i shot a couple family portraits last week before i went to las vegas, and will get them posted now! the pulsiphers were super sweet. and i love their little boys' eyes! so precious!

the johanson family

such fun stripes! i am a funky sock girl (well, i was until i moved to arizona and found that flip flops were a year round thing) anyway, i loved these ones! i thought the stripes gave some fun twists on the simple outfits!

jocelyn

jocelyn is here! her room is decorated in fairies, so we got some cute pictures with these adorable wings!

the davis family

the davis family was great. they even brought some furniture with them to the shoot! :) and the kids really hung in there even though they were hot and hungry!

the bagley family

the bagley's and i share a common love of the musical wicked, so they're already one of my favorites ;) the kids were very adventurous - climbing trees, fences, etc. very fun!

another lesueur family!

any of my blog watchers have probably seen these kids a couple times - but like the romneys, this was my first full family shoot with the lesueurs. they were dream subjects! the kids did exactly as they were told, and i even had to tell them to just have fun with it! they're allowed to relax during my photo sessions :)

these guys have been with me since the beginning! i've done lots of work with the kids, and even some extended family... but surprisingly, this is the first whole family shoot we've done! we had a lot of fun. the kids were not super into the picture taking thing, so we played and got that "perfect imperfection" that is most of our lives!
